A new restaurant for the island, CapicĂșa looks to attract customers bored with the usual run of the islandÂŽs restaurants with some original cooking.the selection of tapas varies, but usually includes such things as smoked duck or abalone. And for those wanting something closer to comfort food there are barbecued chicken wings or shrimp al ajillo (with garlic and strips of toasted guajillo chile). I enjoyed the mahimahi encrusted with white and black sesame seeds, which was cooked just right. Salads can be had, too. There is an okay selection of wines and full bar. The house in which the restaurant is located is decorated with a sense of humor; choose between a dining room with one those beautiful, old tile floors and an old patio sheltered by a large tamarind tree.
